Job Description

Position: Senior Delivery Solution Architect of BSS

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for profitable BSS business by working closely with the sales team to translate the customer needs into detailed technical offering, solutions and proposals. Participate in presales phase to make sure the design, scope,cost and time are correct on behalf of delivery organization.

· Responsible for customer communication both from technical and business perspectives. Help the customer to build their technical strategy on BSS transformation.

· Responsible for analyzing, designing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical BSS solutions for the customers based on their specifications and business needs. Build solutions based on Ericsson BSS products in combination with commercially available 3PP products.

· In project delivery, as a leader of delivery SA team, to manage and coordinate the following delivery solution activities.

o Responsible for communication with external customer in order to fully understand the requirements and manage customer expectation.

o Analyze and scope customer requirements and provide baseline of requirements.

o Responsible for overall solution design of BSS related system based on the requirement baseline.

o Responsible for the requirement management and change control during implementation

· In project delivery, as an overall technical leader, support project manager on coordination of all technical activities to ensure project targets are met. The tasks include

o To make sure solution readiness including coordination of product customization and customer adaptation.

o Monitor onsite integration activities, such as installation, testing, trouble shooting and acceptance test to ensure the quality

o Partner management from technical and business perspective. Make sure partner’s product or deliverable on time and meet solution requirements.

Requirements:

· University degree in computer science, information technology or related areas.

· Have a proven track record as e2e Solution Architect Accountable in at least 3 complex BSS delivery Implementations from start to finish.

· At least 10 years of experience in interaction with senior IT managers and C-level executives and facilitating clients in IT management settings for BSS

· Expertise in BSS business processes, frameworks and methodology, technical platform and software.

· Experience and in depth understanding on the management and execution of projects for application development and migration for legacy IT system in BSS

· Hands-on skill of BSS management system design, development & administration, also with deep understanding of software life cycle management (S-LCM).

· Demonstrated proven track record with the will and ability to adopt and learn new technologies and business models.

· Very good knowledge of Charging, Billing and related customer care system architecture is a must.

· Delivery Experiences of Ericsson Charging Billing In One, Conceptwave is preferred.

· Very Good knowledge of J2EE, SOA, UNIX/LINUX and of relational/nosql database systems

· Very Good knowledge of IT hardware including server, storage and network equipment.

· Good knowledge and understanding of software development is preferred.

· A good team leader with proven record of leadership and management skill.

· Fluent English in written and spoken is a must.
