Responsibilities:
1 - Implement the Group's Purchasing strategies
- Propose and draw up action plans required to comply with Purchasing strategies
- Propose cost optimisation priorities as part of the defined Purchasing strategy
- Propose solutions to improve technical productivity at his/her site
- Help to define annual productivity targets for his/her activity
- Make the necessary decisions to optimise results, in line with initial data
- Help to continually improve the Buyer role
2 - Make purchases for his/her site(s)
- Negotiate with suppliers regarding all purchases (production and non-production) for his/her site(s)
- Help to reduce stock and to improve supplier payment conditions
- Prevent and deal with supplier disputes for his/her site
- Ensure compliance with regulations in force when issuing orders
- Check or update purchasing prices for items listed for his/her site
- Help to monitor quality objectives to be achieved by suppliers and ensure the follow-up and implementation of associated action plans

3 - Help to continually improve the purchasing function
- Draft required reports to meet deadlines
- Pass on information required for their activity to buyers, supplier quality representatives, specifiers and internal customers
- Build on information obtained within the framework of his/her activity, prepare feedback, and make this available to other employees

Requirements:
-Results-driven with strong written/oral communication and negotiation skills.
-Ability to work in a matrix organisation, and in multicultural teams.
-Ability to master several different expert fields: production and non-production purchases.
-Languages & level (put language in column corresponding to level)
-5 Years experience in similar position in Auto Industry.
