Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates and Manages operational flows of the company, and personnel involved in this management.
- Guarantees the flow of products passing through the company by;
- Ensuring the supply of products necessary for production
- Taking part in the development of production programmes
- Optimizing the levels of stock and returnables
- Ensuring contact and communication with customers and suppliers
- Solving any disputes
- Organizes the supply chain (supplies, production scheduling and distribution) by considering internal and customer requirements and best practices.
- Participates in the development of the industrial plan of the company in agreement with the management and sales departments
- Manages and optimizes logistic processes for their site and personnel
- Checks the updating of programmes and adapts the main plan, kanbans and scheduling accordingly aiming for stock optimization and customer satisfaction
2. Plans, manages, and implements the means to ensure delivery of products to customers in time, at the best cost and in compliance with specifications.
- - Studies and implements the means (hardware, software…) to improve logistics performance of the company.
- Monitors exactitude of information sent and compliance with standards employed.
- Manages, with the Purchasing department, the relations with logistic service providers
- Develops or validates logistic protocols defining our operating procedures with supply chain partners (Suppliers, Customers and Service Providers)
- Guarantees accuracy of inventories
- Guarantees reliability and upkeep of equipment and means in their area
3. Manages their activity
- According to the business activity objectives, establishes action plans and coordinates in a consistent way the missions of his/her team
- Proposes and controls the annual operational budget of activity
- Proposes necessary resources to achieve objectives and implements the necessary actions for the changes in staff (recruitment, changes, dismissals), and the investments according to the budget and social constraints
- Follows activity performance indicators, sets up corrective actions if necessary, and communicates them to teams
- Pays attention to maintain team motivation and a positive working climate
- Controls and approves expense notes (trips, ...), absence requests for their team
- Ensures updates of job descriptions according to group processes
- Makes reports of their activity

Requirements:
1. Self-discipline, resistance to stress, team management
2. Ability to organize space in order to optimize flows, capacity to negotiate contracts with sub-contractors and manage relations with carriers.
3. Capable of controlling all of the logistics process in the production plant and coordinate several specific areas; supplies, shipping, receptions, production flows, platform management, scheduling.
4. Proficient in English in both Oral and Written.
