Senior Specialist IT Security

Employment – full time

Tasks

To implement the proper solution to ensure the smooth operation of Windows based servers and related Basic Applications

Key Responsibilities

- Provide management service regarding Security related systems including but not limited to Antivirus/Antispyware/Antispam and Data Access Control system, and excluding network related systems

- Provide management service regarding Windows based servers with related basic applications and server virtualization within BMW Brilliance Automotive

- Implement as well as support potential solutions for Windows based basic applications and server virtualization technologies, based upon customer driven requirements

- Identify and resolve problems through use of technical tools and application of skills and experience. (Second level support)

- Deliver stable systems through the use of predictive growth and maintenance techniques

- Use the relevant IT standard processes as defined within ITIL and QMP

- Specify, procure and manage external support contracts for Windows based servers with related basic applications and server virtualization system

- Conduct customer projects and service reviews workshops

- Negotiate Service Level Agreements with clients. Provide specified levels of service

- Deliver training courses as required

- Deliver problem resolution and document problems and status via management tool

- Ensure that BMW Group standards are deployed and maintained in this specific technology

Qualifications

- University degree in information technology or related subject

- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server with basic applications technology and products

- Knowledge of Antivirus/Antispyware/Antispam technology and products

- Knowledge of Server Virtualization technology and products

- Knowledge of Storage technology and products

- Knowledge of ITIL

- Project management skills

- Good interpersonal skills

- Proficient English, German would be an advantage

- Flexible response to rapidly changing demands

- Ability to function well under extreme pressure

- Lead and influence other team members positively

- Experience with IT Infrastructure, 4-6 years

- Experience with Windows based server and related basic application operation (AD/DNS/DHCP/Exchange/CA/etc.), 1-3 years

- Experience with Security operation (Antivirus/Antispyware/Antispam/etc.), 1-3 years

- Experience with Server Virtualization operation (VMware/Citrix/etc.), 1-3 years

- Experience with Storage operation (SAN/NAS/DAS/etc.), 1-3 years

- Experience with IT service management , 1-3 years

- Experience in JV company, 1-3 years
