Tasks

The role coordinates the delivery of Service Management processes to BMW Brilliance Automotive across internal and external service providers and is the Subject Matter Expert for Cross Functional Services (ITIL processes) within the BMW Brilliance Automotive organization

Key Responsibilities

- Contributes to process requirements for SM tools and identify automation opportunities in conjunction with suppliers

- Primary ITIL process knowledge holder and reference point - is responsible for maintaining their own knowledge and skills with regard to ITIL processes and negotiating on deliverables, KPIs, SLAs etc with suppliers

- Implements process management strategy and performance targets derived from business targets, standards, benchmarks & best practices to ensure processes are run to SLA, KPI and budget

- Ensures that suppliers have required level of contract knowledge to support the accounts effectively

- Is accountable for governance and execution of the E2E service management processes in the account to meet SLA, KPIs and budget

- Monitors supplier performance by using KPIs and initiates process improvement measures

- Plans and prepares certification audits and assessments

- Accountable for process adherence in the BMW Brilliance Automotive organization - escalation point for supplier organizations

- Participates in all CFS Governance Meetings with the supplier - providing expert knowledge and suggesting process improvements, etc

- Supplier go-to person for all process related queries, suggestions, issues, inputs and advice

- Other contingent tasks and projects assigned by line manager

Qualifications

- University degree in information technology or related subject

- Detailed knowledge of the theory and operation aspects of the ITIL processes

- Minimum 5 years relevant experience

- Knowledge of related standards and certifications such as ISO 20k

- Skills with Office software

- Proficient English, German would be an advantage

- Skilled in negotiation with suppliers

- Commands respect for knowledge, experience and excellence within the specific area of service management

- Able to use a process framework, analytical tools and reporting to direct, monitor and evaluate progress and change

- Have influencing skills and personal presence to make representation at the highest levels both externally and internally, formally and informally, establishing confidence and respect both for the functions represented and as an individual

- Related experience in a similar ITIL Operations or Governance role, 4-6 years

- Experience with IT service management, 1-3 years

- Experience in JV company, 1-3 years
