Corporate Division Controlling & Risk Management

Employment – full time

Tasks

- Strategic responsibility for the implementation of a transparent regulation landscape (Principles, Guidelines, Procedural Instructions) following BMW Group structures including the rework of existing regulations

- Leading the process of revising and creating Company Policies and Guidelines (preparation with Business Departments, decision, implementation)

- Steering and supervising the issuing of Procedural Instructions through Business Departments. Challenging the review of Business Processes connected with regulation requests. Ensuring a companywide interpretation of regulations

- Leading the alignment of regulations with BMW Group and BMW China entities

Key Responsibilities

- Implementation of a transparent regulation landscape throughout the whole company in cooperation with BMW Group Companies. Definition of regulation types, release processes etc.

- Overall Company responsibility for the change/creation process of Company Policies and Guidelines incl. preparation, alignment steering, BoM/BoD decision and publication

- Supervision of and support for the enactment of Procedural Instructions through the Business Departments (structure, release process, support regarding content alignment with BMW Group)

- Stimulating the alignment of Business Process improvement with the regulation landscape

- Leading the alignment process of new/ updated regulations with all BMW China entities (NSC, SF, BCS), Performance of the approval process (BMW China F-Circle, China Board, BMW Brilliance Automotive Board of Management)

- Overall Company responsibility for advising on regulation interpretation

- Monitoring of Regulation changes at BMW Group/ AG

- Supervision of the standardization of Guideline application within the whole company

- Other contingent tasks and projects assigned by line manager

Qualifications

- University degree in economics or law

- Profound knowledge of the interaction of different regulations on different levels, their interpretation and implementation

- Profound knowledge of the organizational structure of large companies

- Experience with Process Improvement, Management Consulting

- Knowledge of financial control instruments

- Competency of quickly comprehending topics outside the subject area and to deal with them

- Communication and negotiation skills on management and team level; excellent presentation skills

- Management experience/ team lead

- Social competency and an ability to act in a multicultural environment for the close cooperation with both responsible departments/ entities located in China and Germany

- Competency of building up a network with all relevant departments within BMW Brilliance Automotive and the whole BMW Group, especially BMW China entities (NSC, SF and BCS)

- English

- Background in Industry, 4-6 years

- Background in Law, 4-6 years

- Experience in leading teams and projects, 4-6 years

- Experience with requirements expected from a subsidiary of an international group, 1-3 years

- Background in Finance (preferably in controlling), 1-3 years
