Advanced Specialist Cost Estimator

Employment – full time

Tasks

- Fulfill the target to verify the BOQ of the tendering document, to ensure and control the proper implementation of project management regarding to CR process during the execution of the project

- Be fully responsible for evaluation of the final quantity for Tiexi project and support to reach the target of each team

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for cost estimation for the project proposals and feasibility study report based roughly project information

- Responsible for quantities assessment and price investigation to provide suggestions for project leader to control the project cost within the planned budget

- Responsible for reviewing the items, quantities and price of Change Order (CO) with the project proposals provided by PCM and contractors and make sure that the item, the price and the quantity of their proposal are correct and reasonable

- Responsible for the cost estimation and control of the project Change Order Request (COR) during the execution of the project

- Preparation of tendering documents for BOQ, RFQ; familiar with the related laws and regulations

- To guide to make schedule plan and the investment plan for technical renovation and basic construction projects; manage the execution of the related project

- Provide suggestion to organize the implement of the technical renovation projects; coordinate and solve the issues during the implement; execute construction and maintenance projects

- Provide suggestion for the project acceptance and handover process and review the discrepancy of the actual cost and quantities with the panned figures

Qualifications

- University degree / graduated with engineer bachelor

- Registered cost engineer

- Profound knowledge of civil construction

- Profound knowledge of electrical, mechanical cost estimation

- Proficiency with PC experience, especially with MS-Office applications

- Skills with Auto cad experience

- Good English would be an advantage

- Experience in cost estimation, quantities assessment and price investigation, 4-6 years

- Experience in construction management, 1-3 years
