Advanced Specialist Maintenance Mechanic

Employment – full time

Tasks

- Support all manufacturing operations (assembly, machining)

- Mechanical systems and any other system support that affects the manufacturing operations

Key Responsibilities

- To provide necessary support in emergency repairing which is mechanic, pneumatic or hydraulic related

- To provide special technical knowledge support regarding product quality issue analysis and improvement

- To provide technical analysis support to related break, plan and implement improvement actions including small design, drawing and manufacturing quality design

- To compose working instruction of mechanical related maintenance operation to keep high effective and efficient maintenance activities

- To compose and improve Total Productive Maintenance scheduling and Preventive Maintenance scheduling with OEM instruction, technical knowledge and BMW Brilliance/BMW standards

- To identify, confirm and issue the necessary spare parts, maintenance consumables and external technical service for maintenance work, including budget plan accordingly

- To define and update min/max stock level of responsible spare parts

- To provide know how of mechanic, pneumatic, hydraulic and specific equipment knowledge to internal staffs

- To categorize necessary tools and facilities for maintenance work needed

- To support project regarding maintainability, pre/acceptance, spare parts selection and so on

- To be the interface to sister technologies/plants regarding tools management alignment and problem solving

Qualifications

- Bachelor / Master Degree in mechanical engineering

- Proficiency with CAD or similar software, material, treatment and mechanical manufacturing

- Design capability of mechanic, pneumatic and hydraulic integration

- Systematic knowledge of engine manufacturing equipment

- knowledge and good ability of equipment assembly under high accuracy

- Manufacturing process knowledge of engine assembly or machining

- high quality consciousness and understanding

- Knowledge of various lean manufacturing methods

- English, German would be an advantage

- Proficiency with computer operation and MS office knowledge

- Background in manufacturing systems regarding engine Assembly, machining, 4-6 years

- Or equipment mechanical design, installation and commissioning in the engine manufacturing project, 4-6 years

- Joint venture working experience, 1-3 years
