Advanced Specialist Performance Test Facility System

Employment – full time

Tasks

- To conduct all aspects of engine performance testing (e.g. dynamic and static audit)

- Identify and rectify problems identified

Key Responsibilities

- Engine audit (dynamic: to test 1% of production volumes via a standard 4 hour test sequence; static: to test, strip and examination of up to 4 engines per week)

- Carry out problem identification & support investigation processes

- Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of test facilities

- Reporting (to serve as the point of contact for all relevant functions: analysis specialists, quality specialists / production management, quality control for all parts quality issues)

Qualifications

- University degree / graduated in engineering (automotive/engine)

- Expert knowledge of engine components, quality standards, product audit and test bench operation

- Up-to-date knowledge of advancements in quality thinking and approaches

- Thorough understanding of business targets and objectives

- Highly developed communication skills

- Team and individual development, management and leadership

- Project management skills

- Awareness of health, safety and environmental issues relevant to the area of responsibility

- Experience of working both cross-function and internationally

- English and German language skills

- Knowledge of BMW and BMW Brilliance China business processes, 1-3 years
