Tasks

The target of this position is to ensure the implementation of Sourcing Committee in BMW Brilliance Automotive for projects / parts planned to be localized in China, including the following 3 main responsibilities:

- Project Steering and Controlling (for localized projects/components handover)

- Organize the Sourcing Committee, ensure nomination letter signed correctly and on time

- As interface with BMW AG (mainly MZ-2, M-KIFA, MC-x), provide supplier nomination status, and also share project information within BBA- Monitor production capacity for all Logistice Circle suppliers and ensure alignment with BMW Brilliance Automotive production planning

Key Responsibility

- Create the nomination list, which is the main tracking tool for the project steering and monitoring

- Control the handover status, support the buyer to check the quality of handover documents

- Fulfill all the nomination status for every part and also gather all relevant information regarding a part e.g. contact persons, appointments, supplier data and the handover status in the nomination list

- Support the buyer to prepare their sourcing committee presentation, which should be presented in the sourcing committee to the Head of Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality & R&D and Purchasing, ensure the quality of the presentation can be reached the sourcing committee standard

- Ensure all parts for all the new production lines can be localized as planned in Logistice Circle concept in Munich

- Organize the weekly souring committee in BMW Brilliance Automotive, ensure all the sourcing committee members can participate the meeting, even with video conference, or with their deputy

- Take charge of the sourcing committee, support buyers for any questions from sourcing committee members

- Ensure the meeting minutes and nomination letter can be signed correctly and in time

- Provide the supplier nomination information and supplier location situation to MC circle and Purchasing department circle

- As the interface between BMW AG, MC and BMW Brilliance Automotive for all sourcing committee issue

Qualification

- Master Degree / University
- Minimum 4 year experience automotive industry

- Knowledge of automotive purchasing, QMT, logistics process

- Understanding of BMW AG and BMW Brilliance Automotive supplier base

- Proficiency in Office applications (Excel, word etc.), SAP

- Project management

- Analytical thinking, mature, responsible and result-oriented personality

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in inter-cultural environment

- Good command of written and spoken English

- German language skills preferred

- Background in automotive industry,4-6years

- Operational experience in Purchasing and /or QMT,4-6years

- Profound experience/ knowledge of project management,4-6years
