Task description:
- Development of applications for data logging and analysis
- Setup of systems for data logging and analysis
- Launching & testing such systems inland and abroad
- Support on technical customer queries
- Planning/Coordination of realization of new processes, procedures, facilities and sequences in production division surface
- Working on planning topics from concept and detailed planning to creation of specification, supplier assessment and supervision of realization
- Evaluation and supervision of implementation of production, corrosion protection and material concepts as well as strategies
- Self-dependent analysis and optimization of productional sequences after coordination with all persons involved in this process of the division
- Partial project leadership of further development of existing production techniques along process chain with external suppliers
- Responsible leadership of project groups for analysis of error within start-ups
- Self-dependent and project-responsible optimization of new processes by coordinating with divisions quality management, planning, assembly and suppliers
- Development and implementation of binding standards for improvement of processes and quality
- Creation of own ideas for improvements and supporting their cross-plant implementation
- Supervision and documentation of introduction of new painting technologies in series production
- Preparing proposals for improving existing process and facility techniques and evaluation of their potential

Requirements:
- Academic studies of a technical branch of study with good graduation, e.g. mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics, process engineering, surface engineering/coating technology or physics
- At least 5 years of work experience
- Experience in programming with high level languages (Visual Basic, C# or C++)
- Experience in installing IT-systems (Windows server)
- Work experience as a planner for mechanical and manual paint application (wet paint & dry chemical) and manual preparation stations as well as an applications engineer preferably in automotive branch
- Ideally, you additionally have appropriate work experience in surface cleaning and pretreatment as well as drying/curing of coated metal or plastic parts
- Interest in operating new technologies, facilities, materials and processes
- You have good English and German language skills.
- You like self-dependent working as well as team-working on complex selection of topics.
- You feel comfortable in an international work environment. Moreover, you are highly mobile and flexible.
- You are responsible, reliable and systematical in project planning and implementation.
- You have a confident appearance and a convincing manner in communicating.
- You work self-dependently and proactively.
- You identify complex interrelations in existing data and derive concrete deductions by using your analytical skills and methodological approach.
