JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Engineer should supervise the customer acceptance test(CAT) and life time test (LTT) activities which include team management and implementation deployment as well as facility layout optimization. The Quality Engineer should communicate with Manufacturing and R&D and other related functions to resolve quality issues detected from CAT. And also the Quality Engineer should take responsibility for organizing and documenting of off-taste test.


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
1 Plan, maintain and lead continuous improvment projects focused on products using suitable improvement methods.
2 Lead corrective and preventive action teams to solve problems with product focus in the role of project manager
3 Prepare and analyse data to improve components, products and processes.
4 Supervise and coordinate activities of Customer acceptance test (CAT) and life time test (LTT) personnel.
5 Oversee the daily operation of CAT&LTT team and ensure a high-efficient team through ongoing coaching, resource provision and performance reviews.
6 Plan, deploy and optimize the process and facilities of CAT and LTT to ensure the effective implementation.
7 Design and write documents include procedure files, SOPs and Checklists for CAT and LTT after effective commnication with related departments.
8 Drive to resolve quality issues detected by CAT and lead the continual improvement for CAT findings.
9 Lead Off-taste test team to perform test regularly and make summary and documentation for the result.
10 Other responsibilities assigned by Group Quality Manager and/or QA Project Manager.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1 Minimum 4 year bachelor in engineering field, preferably in mechanical or electronical engineering.
2 Minimum 5-8 years experience as Quality Engineer or similar position in a foreign company with English as main language.
3 Work experience in white goods industry is preferred
4 Demonstrated problem solving abilities (CAPA) and knowledge of problem solving methods and quality tools.
5 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills either with supervisors and counterpartners or subodinates.
6 Demonstrated experience in supervising personnel.
7 Be willing to and with the capability to accept and learn new knowledge.
8 Demonstrated ability to work independently.
9 Good knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO9001 and HACCP etc.

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1 Good knowledge in Microsoft Office suite.
2 Good sense of design of documents.
3 Planning and organizing abilities necessary for this position
4 High attention to details
5 Presentation skills
