-From our IC Sector, BT division, SBT is looking to a Data Center Technical Expert for BT Solutions. Perform specific system(s) / Project design and application guidance in accordance with company procedures, working as part of the Datacenter Engineering team under the direction of the Engineering Manager.

What are my responsibilities?
- Evaluate that the Datacenter projects are designed in accordance with the contract requirements.
- Assess quantities of equipment depicted on project drawings, develop control panel designs and assess variations in equipment quantities due to drawing revisions if any.
- Prepares engineering re-estimates, follows-up with respective project manager to ensure understanding of and satisfaction with scope of work, provides startup & checkout documentation for the project manager and the execution team.
- Provide assistance in the compilation of sales quotations with regards to the selection of suitable components, ensure correct panel components are incorporated within the proposed system compared with the specification prior to submission, and will compile data / information required for the sales team.

Bid Support:
- “translate” project specification into solutions based on Siemens or 3rd party deliveries
- BOM/BOQ and draft of system architecture
- Labor related to install/implement/commission the Siemens delivery according to requested scope of works
- prepare the bid calculation based on BOM/BOQ and labor
- elaborate the compliance documents (deviation from specs)
- elaborate variant solutions (variation from original specs)
- check terms and conditions requested in bid request documents
- elaborate the bid documents to submit to the customer (contractor)
- typically mechanical / electrical engineer, never on site

What do I need quality this position?
-BE in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Instrumentation
-Good knowledge of BAS/BMS systems in high reliability, energy efficient DC infrastructure
-Preferrably knowledge of Fire/Security solutions
-4-8 years of experience in building technologies perspective in DC Industry
-Fluency in English to regularly interact with CoC Team in India

-Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. .
-Highly self-motivated and directed.
-Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.
