Position Title: Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Mission:
In order to localization the parts for turbine machines and compressors, audit and technical expedite suppliers process progress, guide the suppliers and continuously improve the quality standard to meet the company requirements

Major responsibilities:

- Execution of supplier evaluations/audits for Chinese suppliers.
- Development of processes together with the selected suppliers and for new commodities,
- Inspections of components during production and before delivery, expediting the project progress at the supplier site, monitoring of the supplier performance. Implement on-site audit when necessary.
- Tracking of supplier performance, identification of weaknesses and implementation of improvement programs.
- Issue Non Conformity Form and Corrective and Preventive Action Plan to suppliers once NC occurs. Work with supplier to analyze, identify the root cause, take actions to correct and prevent similar issues recurrence.
- Support of the other departments/functions (purchaser, engineering) regarding SQA related issues.
- Supporting the project teams of the other companies regarding inspections and others.

Job Requirement:
- Bachelor degree of mechanical. Knowledge of material, metallurgy and test principle, approach.
- Capability to identify on a drawing the most important specifications for the work to be done
- At least 6 years experiences in quality department of heavy machinery industry, preferably also in turbo compressor manufacturing industry.
- Inspection experience with heat exchange, , motors is a plus.
- Experience with inspection and test planning;
- Good computer skills including Microsoft series and Lotus Notes,
- Willing to travel inside China( over 50%) and less frequently to our production sites in Germany and the USA.
- Experience in working within an international company is preferred.
- Self driven and pro-active.
