Mission:
Your area of employment is Hella Shanghai Electronics Company. As an expert of process technology you are responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving materials and manufacturing processes in the Business Unit Electronics. Your tasks are challenging and multi-faceted: clarification and definition of the requirements with regards of new process technologies in the field of metal materials.


Job description

- Responsible for technical support of special manufacturing processes during the whole product development process: from pre-development to serial start including the troubleshooting after the production start.

- Organize the improvement for process in quality, cost and speed to meet the customer requirement.

- Works with global team for new line installation and qualification at Shanghai, may require travel to foreign country for training or assignment.

- Develop and optimize company equipment performance specification, company standards with headquarters.

- Trouble shooting and reengineering of production processes within the scope of requirements of new product design.

- Work with internal / external equipment manufacturers or other assembly center to improve current manufacturing process and development.

- This role will take technical expert on one or more of following technology: soldering, press-fit, brazing, Laser welding metal, riveting.

- Continuously training to manufacturing engineers, and TPM technicians in the special area.

requirements
1. B.S. degree or above, majoring in material science, mechanics or other equivalent ones.
2. Ideally you have already the first job experience.
3. Experience with press-fit, pin insertion, Laser welding, brazing, riveting, leakage test, is an added advantage.
4. Solid understanding in equipment mechanics parts is preferred.
5. Working understanding of statistics/Six Sigma certification desirable.
6. Experience in performing GR&R, process DOE.
7. Good knowledge in material and analysis standards (Metals).
8. Good oral, written communications skills. Fluent in English.
