RESPONSIBLE FOR PURCHASING AND LOGISTICS

MISSION
Your mission will be to carry out purchasing and logistics activities, controlling the processes from A to Z, giving and receiving support from and to the rest of the Purchasing and Logistics Department at IDIADA HQ.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REPORTING
- To act as technical buyer, offering the best class purchasing service to the operational (engineering) department
- You will participate in the definition of the process and the purchasing methodologies and tools, investigating the market and finding suppliers, and also participating direct and actively in the price negotiation and also in the payment /invoicing methodology
- You will select and evaluate the suppliers that can provide best-in-class services to the company according with technical requirements
- You will give support to any logistics operation requested
- You will report to the Purchasing and Logistics Manager of IDIADA HQ plus the Corporate Service Manager of IDIADA China BU.

REQUIREMENTS

Education
- Preferably, MS Engineering degree
- Having a university degree in Business Administration or Economics is another possibility
- Having a postgraduate course or Master in Category Management / International Purchasing is an asset

Languages
- Chinese native
- Fluency in English (Mandatory): Advanced English level both in written and spoken

Experience & personality
- Having a minimum of 4 years in a purchasing department is Mandatory
- Being familiar with (1 or 2 years of experience) with purchasing processes related to industrial facilities (for instance laboratories, testing facilities, technological devices/tools…) and/or related to software licenses for the automotive industry is very welcome
- Selection and evaluation of suppliers by categories
- Having some experience in leading logistics operation is an asset
- Having administrative experience in the purchasing department is a must (for example having experience working with ERP’s such as NAVISION or SAP, creating and evaluating suppliers’ folders, following up authorisation signature and approvals in the system for the execution of the process), assessment of contracts…





- Being familiar analysing market KPI’s and economic status of key suppliers is welcome
- In addition of the ERP system, we need also advanced user level of the MS office tools, especially word, excel and power point
- Proactive spirit and excellent analytical skills in order to keep under control all the administrative procedures of the Purchasing department of the Business Unit.
- With high level of initiative and of assertiveness, being persistent and objective oriented person. With recognisable service orientation
- With high level of commitment to the job and identification with corporate objectives
- Creative, willing to improve internal processes implementing/integration new methodologies
- Confident in discussions at different hierarchical levels and from different cultures inside multinational organisations, with high level of empathy
- Open to travel when required
