We are currently looking for an energy modeling expert to join our team of architects and engineers. The successful candidate will work with our in-house architects, engineers and designers to create buildings and workplaces with a holistic approach to sustainable design. The successful candidate will create and revise models to guide our conceptual designs, and help us analyse and compare detailed schemes during schematic and further design stages. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating baseline energy models based on energy code such as ASHRAE 90.1-2007 and GB50189-2005.
Proficient in GB50189-2005 energy performance standards.
Familiar with LEED, ASHRAE-90.1, ASHRAE-55, ASHRAE-62 performance codes are a major plus.
Understand the concepts of building loads, building consumption, mechanical and natural ventilation, building fa？ade properties and performance of part and peak loads.
Requirements:
A university trained building engineering background.
2+ years experience in energy modeling related projects.
Software Proficiency:
Any or several of the following: EnergyPlus / eQuest / Revit MEP / Ecotect / Thermal Analysis Software, Daylight Analysis Software such as RADIANCE.
