Role Specification

Job Purpose: Product Design utilizing Catia v5 R18, 19 and 20.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

1. Single point of contact for internal and customer team product designs.
2. Collaborate with global engineering, purchasing, SPE, manufacturing to lead full system design and execution with supply base.
3. Drive continuous improvement (cost, quality, function).
4. Full technical review and product integration negotiation with customer teams.
5. Establish work plan across projects to on time deliver PD outputs (MCAD, ECAD, SC/CC lists and 2D drawing component approvals).
6. Deliver new product launches to PDS process.

Key Performance Indicators:

1. Design right first time. PDS adherence. R/1000 and landed cost.
2. Creation and alignment of a single plan product program plan.
