Role Specification
Job Purpose:Component engineering for electrical components within Climate Products
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

1. Single point of contact for China team for electrical components.
2. Collaborate with global engineering, purchasing, SPE, manufacturing to lead China product strategy and design with supply base.
3. Drive continuous improvement (cost, quality, function) within the China supply chain for electrical items within Climate applications.
4. Full technical review and product integration negotiation with customer teams.
5. Establish work plan across China supplied blower motors, actuators, sensors, fan motors and transducers to input in to global process.
6. Deliver new product launches to PDS process.
Key Performance Indicators:

1. Design right first time. PDS adherence. R/1000 and landed cost.
2. Product strategy alignment and single plan.

Strong technical aptitude and keen business and product acumen
Excellent organizational, analytical, mathematical and Excel skills.
