Job Title: Junior Sales - Trading
Business Unit: Procurement Division / RSW
Department: Trading
Work Location: Shanghai, CHINA
Summary of Position:
Reporting to the Head of Trading & Procurement Department, the position is primarily responsible for all sales matters relative to Trading business within Division.
Created less than a year ago, the Trading department of the Procurement Division is today one of the niche, the company wishes to develop on its preferential markets (South East Asia (Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar) / China / Mongolia / Kazakhstan / South East Africa (DRC, Zambia) / West Africa (Guinea / Liberia) / France). Initially an internal department supplying products link with the FM and Remote Site Management activities (PPE, uniforms, Hospitality products…), and following external clients request, the trading platform had been officially launched in March 2013. With an in-house team based in Shanghai, and supported by a sales network present in our preferential markets, the main task for this position will be :
- Work on the product portfolio in order to match the expectation of our client and our sourcing capabilities
- Identified within the preferential markets those with the biggest growth potential
- Generate leads through classical channel (email / cold call / meetings )
- Cooperate with the digital marketing team to prepare release, newsletters, and identified leads and feedback generate through it
- Coordinate and push the sales network to sale the identified products on the selected markets
- Analyzed the sales work and efficiency through various tools (sales force, google analytics…) in order to coordinate and guide the sales network and prepare the coming months focus
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Very good English skilled (written and spoken), Chinese would be a +
- Good presentation, excellent interpersonal skills
- Interest in creating new contact and in sales job.
- Ambitious, hard worker. Previous experience as a sales a must.
- Pro-active with an entrepreneur spirit
- Well organized with good analytical skill is a plus.
- The ideal candidate should possess:
- At least 5 years related working experience in an international company.
- Background: Trading experience is a must. Trading in uniforms / PPE / industrial product is a plus.
- Good understanding of international trade and logistic.
