Position Title: Senior National Sales Training & Development Manager
Location: Shanghai
Reporting to: Sales Vice President
Client Profile:
US company with more than 200 years history with leading position in consumer / construction material industry
Position Summary:
1. Own sales team and distributor capability development to support business growth needs
2. Develop sales manual, job responsibility and keep documentation
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Own sales team and distributor capability development to support business growth needs
2. Develop assessment and survey tools to identify the top capability gap for both Valspar sales team and distributors and develop training program accordingly
3. Summarize and consolidate best promoter training practice and working process from top distributors and reapply to all target distributors
4. Qualify internal and external trainers based on training and capability development needs
5. Develop on-site training program and process to monitor and ensure on the ground training quality
6. Work with multi-function together to identify headcount principle and responsible for sales department headcount planning
7. Develop management trainee recruitment and training program to ensure fresh blood for sales department business development and organization upgrade needs
8. Own sales manual, job responsibility development and documentation
Key Requirements:
1. University degree
2. At least 8+ years working experience in training department, prefer sales training experience
3. Strong capability in organizational capability analysis, identification and program development
4. Great communication, training capability
5. Good relationship with external training companies
