Innovation and Product Development is one of the Practice Areas within Operations service line and is defined as follows:
Innovation and Product Development helps to improve innovation and product development performance, from idea to retirement, providing greater effectivity and efficiency of R&D as well as improved enterprise performance. Our suite of solutions is organized to drive transformational value to cover the end-to-end spectrum of the product and service life cycle; beginning in innovation through the product development process and on to downstream support.
Experience
Specific experiences to include:
A minimum of 10 years of progressive business and / or consulting experience.
Hands-on experiences in Operations domain
Consulting or functional experience in either or combination of Sourcing and Procurement, Planning and fulfillment, Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Business Process Management, Service management, Innovation or Product Development
Strong program management skills
Global exposure will be desirable.
Deep expertise of core PLM and New Product Development processes and best practices to help an organization improve outcomes.
Candidate must have previous experience in a lead role in product development in a consulting/corporate setting as well as experience working in one or more of the areas below:

Requirements Management
Part/BOM/CAx Data Management
Engineering Change and Configuration Management
Component and Supplier Management / Integration
Manufacturing Engineering
Quality Management / Value Engineering
Profile/Role Description
Involve in business development initiatives and demand generation,
Build a roadmap for projects; articulates the scope of assignment, delivery model, effort estimation etc to lead delivery
Coach, mentor and provide feedback to resources working in the team to groom them for assuming higher responsibilities.
Responsible for managing the relationship with the client and overall project delivery
Tracking time management of project resources and profitability
Project and program deliveries
Interpret business case solutions into quantifiable customer benefits
Contribute to practice development activities like asset building, capability development, community events, recruitments, etc
Contribute to business development and demand generation with key internal stake holders globally
Coach, mentor and provide feedback, to resources working in the team to groom them for assuming higher responsibilities.
Key Competencies and Characteristics
Experience of working with the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the “C” level executives in a range of environments
Functioning in a broadly positioned and highly diverse consulting firm
Impressive executive demeanor, a team oriented and collaborative approach, and excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
