Job Description

Job Title: IT Supervisor
Job Level: Level 4
Location: DCMC, Shanghai
Reports to: CFO


Provide IT Support

-Oversees the management of corporate help desk activities and resolves escalated issues if necessary.
-Analyses help desk reports to monitor service levels and proactively identify problems and address the issues as appropriate
-Provide IT support to HQ users, paying special attention to the users of SAP


Manage IT Assets

-Manage and maintain the hardware / IT equipment and network system;
-Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including network, systems and security.
-Manage the HQ videoconferencing facilities
-Oversees the management of all internal software applications to ensure that user requirements are met and efficiencies are achieved
-Maintain a log of IT assets (both hardware and software) including licenses
-Develop a maintenance schedule for all IT assets

Manage Procurement

-Manage good service level of vendors per job required and provide purchasing solutions.
-Manage all outsourced relationships and contractual service level agreements.
-Maintain a professional relationship with vendors
-Seek best price and quality solutions for purchased services and goods
-Coordinate with system vendors and internal clients in areas of internet connection, IT security, software/hardware purchase & its warranty and the deployment of system applications

IT Planning

-Responsible for managing all future IT activities of a company with approximately 50 personnel
-Co-ordinate and work with other team to apply IT projects and site expansion projects; to collect and identify potential project requirements and apply;
-Responsible for generating the IT requirement based on business needs, designing the IT infrastructure, implementing the plan, and maintaining such infrastructure to serve the HQ office operations.

Work with SAP Development Group

-Working relationships across teams especially SAP Development Group, business units, and/or disciplines, and effective communication and collaboration to quickly resolve internal customer issues

Manage IT Budget

-Develop the annual IT budget corresponding to the IT plans
-Ongoing management of the IT budget

Manage IT security

-Responsible for HQ office data backup planning and implementation;
-Responsible for network security by designing policies and architecture to prevent unwanted intrusions
-Assess and manage physical security of IT assets
-Perform regular security awareness training ensure consistently high levels of compliance with IT security policies.

Document processes and procedures

-Develop IT policies, procedures and standards to ensure a secure and legal compliance computing system environment.
-Maintain IT policies and procedures with annual reviews and updates
-Effectively communicate policies and procedures to staff

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
-IT related certificate MCSE, CCNA, PMP, ITIL is an advantage
-At least five years working experience in the IT industry with prior working experience with an MNC preferable
-Working experience in help desk management
-Project management experience is beneficial
-Proficiency in both written and spoken English
-Knowledge of SQL database, SAP B1, windows O/S.
-Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming and system design
-Hands-on experience in virtualization, designing, building and maintaining network infrastructure with WAN/LAN, VLAN, firewall, VPN and remote access service features
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Good analytical and problem solving skills
-Strong sense of integrity
-Ability to work proactively and independently
