职位描述
- Responsible for selling the company’s products or services and maintaining relationships with assigned customer
base.
- Responsible to grow market share in regions and with assigned customers.
- Responsible for expanding and developing accounts along with acquiring new accounts directly or through distribution
if it is necessary to achieve set objectives so market shares.
- Identify, evaluate and develop strategic product line business plans to build account base. Extensive travel may be
required.
- Analyze markets and channels about TAM and dealer interfaces
- Defining potentials and non potentials in channel to be able to set activities
- Identify research and conduct analysis on customers and prospects within the various vertical markets. Profile these
customers to develop applications for our products
- Diagnose customers needs, determining best WD solution and product fit
- Open and motivated to make cold calls to our existing POS distribution customers, driving the pull-thru business back
to the distributors
- Work closely with Channel Marketing to develop pull-thru strategies within our distribution channel. This would include
trade shows, advertising, and MDF programs
- Become fully trained to sell the technical features of the product and demonstrate the customer’s value of buying from
Western Digital
- Ensure that customers see the value added of WD products over competitive products
- Prepare weekly reports documenting the activity status, issues and incremental sell-thru within the accounts
- Set target number of customer touches per day and document the activity in the customer profile
- Analyze the POS information for territorial quantitative goals
Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of related experience in a variety of sales environments, preferably a technical sales role
- Proven sales ability; ability to be a team player on all levels
- Sales experience a plus in the storage field with Industrial background.
- Territorial management experience essential for success in this role.
- Represent the company appropriate to members of the community and outside organizations
- Provide clear direction to, and gain cooperation from, other internal staff/outside agencies involved in projects this
position is responsible for managing
- Negotiates well and is persuasive
- Influence behavior to the Director level, internally and in large multi national accounts
- Present credible image
- Conduct business in ethical manner
- Develops and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Effectively deliver formal presentations to audiencesa
- High interpersonal competency; high level of initiative
