职位描述

Assist Program Manager to manage new program launch process. Participates in the Advanced Quality Planning process with a part specific focus coordinating activities, information and the Production Part Approval Process. Monitors manufacturing projects from product launch to delivery, ensuring customers expectations for product quality are met on a daily basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Project Development
1. Research projects, defines needs, develops project plans, locates resources and proposes budgets and schedules.
2. Sources contractors and suppliers, prepares bid packages, obtains estimates, recommends and confirms acceptance of tenders.
3. Develops and prepares and presents project proposals, justification and budgets.
4. Involvement in APQP, PPAP, FMEA and Project development.

Project Engineering & Management
5. Studies existing and new equipment, prepares specifications, reviews reliability and performance data and recommends modifications and repairs.
6. Manages CI projects, developing or reviewing designs, developing budgets and schedules, locating suppliers and co-ordinating the installation and testing to ensure the expected performance.
7. Develops or maintains a library of procedural manuals and systems standards.
8. Ensures compliance with plant, engineering, environment, health and safety-related legislation and regulations.
Manufacturing Tasks
9. Monitor manufacturing process to ensure conformance to specifications, giving advice, resolving problems and identifying areas for improvement.
10. Provides support, guidelines and training to production personnel as required.
11. Interprets blueprints to establish and monitor standards for quality conformance.
12. Review of CMM layouts, SPC data providing feedback and corrective actions.
13. Perform dock audits, layered audits, and process/procedural audits as required.
14. Act as key contact and maintain documentation of System Alerts, Corrective Actions and use towards continuous improvement.
15. Creation and maintenance of operator instructions, pack instructions, CMM visual aids, attribute check sheets and any forms pertaining to each part specific quality system.
16. Prepare pilot, PTR, and pre-production part documentation and insure that all requirements are met.
17. Prepare and submit the PPAP documentation per AIAG requirements.
Problem Solving
18. Liases with representatives of manufacturing to facilitate changes and improvements in production tools or methods to promote product quality integrity.
19. Daily troubleshooting of process & quality issues (internal, external, supplier)
20. Leads response team for Corrective Actions and responds to the Customer PR/R's.
21. Work with foundry and component suppliers too maintain product integrity and customer relations.
22. Provide quality tools and methods (DOE, data-mining, fishbone, etc) to teams as required.
23. Provides problem solving leadership to individual employees and to teams or committees.
24. Coordinates the reduction of scrap via the Continuous Improvement process.
Communication
25. Communicates product or process changes and provides guidance or training when necessary.
26. Ensures the Quality/Product Leader and Business Unit Leader remains informed of planning, progress against planning and anticipated problems.
27. Reports situations by exception from plan, recommending corrective actions or detailing actions taken.
28. Acts as a resource to teams and committees as required.
29. Participates in design for manufacturing and other technical, problem solving and information meetings.
30. Customer contact for quality issues and corrective actions submissions.
AQP Responsibilities
31. Follow up with responsible designates to ensure action items are complete for all phases.
32. Generate agendas and minutes for meetings
33. Continuous monitoring and updating of APQP progress.
34. Prepare and maintain OEM AQP requirements.
35. Initiate and participate in OEM/Corporate AQP reviews and activities.
36. Leads the Core Team in the creation of Control Plans, PFMEA's Process Flows, etc.
37. Machine Launch capability studies (gauging, data interpretation, Cpk, etc.)
38. Liases with Program Managers to work on part specific customer initiatives and APQP effectiveness.
AQP Accountability
39. Phase review completeness for both OEM and Corporate Quality requirements
40. Product launch readiness
41. PPAP Readiness-Documentation therein
42. Run at Rate Readiness-documentation therein
Other
43. Supports the Participative Management Principles and participates in the Continuous Improvement Process.
44. Complies with company policies and procedures.
45. Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
? Mechanical or foundry Engineering, or Quality Diploma/Degree or equivalent work experience.
? Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
? Ability to interpret technical drawings including an understanding of GD&T
? Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Statistical methods relevant to the auto industry
? Good verbal and written communication skills
? 2 years experience in auto industry
