Position Summary:

This individual will be responsible for Interfacing directly with customers, coordinating with Plant Engineers and Facility Managers in the development, creation, and training of Energy Control Programs. Responsibilities include the creation of Lockout / Tagout Procedures, Employee Training and Periodic inspections of Energy Control Procedures. In addition, this senior level role will serve as a team Subject Matter Expert (SME), supporting the broader team as an initial point of reference, and leading efforts of process improvement for greater efficiency in Services.

Position Requirements:
? A four year Mechanical Engineering degree will distinguish the most desirable candidate (preferred)
? 5 years experience as a mechanical technician, maintenance, or repair of industrial equipment
? Demonstrable field experience can be an offset to the formal education
? An understanding of OSHA regulation pertaining to the Control of Hazardous Energy 29 CFR 1910.147.and isolating equipment hazardous conditions to achieve a zero energy state
? Knowledge of industrial equipment operations and processes. An understanding of OSHA regulations regarding Confined Spaces 29 CFR 1910.146
? Self directed and are able to solve problems in the field
? Computer skills required (Microsoft Office)
? Ability to interface with customers requires excellent communications skills
? Extensive travel, in excess of 50 to 70% is required

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
? Create Lockout Procedures at customer job site
? Manage Lockout Tagout Procedure writing project from inception to final delivery, insuring that project scope is delivered to customers satisfaction
? Support of Channel Managed Accounts in 4 main categories
? Is responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction
? Installs, repairs and maintains equipment in the field; provides customer training as required
? Documents all inspections, maintenance, repair work and submits paperwork in a timely basis
? Orders, installs, and returns parts and manages repair parts cycle time
? Reviews all logs for open issues and prepares formal reports to customers as necessary
? Participates in Service sales opportunities and assists with promoting and implementing revenue programs
? Ensures that tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated
? Cross trained to assist with expanded service offerings bridging the gap into Visual Workshop implementation
? Process and productivity solutions
? Access to and trained on Project Manager
? Administrate and manage all customer project file, providing periodic reviews of Field Engineers work
? Development and delivery of training for new hires
? Initial point of reference for field engineers
? Assesses product/equipment performance based on field support data; recommends modifications or improvements
? Seeks to provide technical support to customers and other service professionals as required
? May participate in site surveys, pilot program service activities, attend meetings, champion special projects and prepare exclusive reports
? Possesses an advanced level of technical knowledge on the company's products. Has the skill and flexibility to be able to switch from one product to another as needed
? Seeks to lead and coach junior technicians with their technical issues, and help to resolve them
? May supervise the work of junior-level technical staff and/or lead projects as required
