The Quality Inspector will work as an important role within supply chain. This role will include compliance inspection and verification of products, processes, and documentation. Ensure best quality performance of delivery to customers.

Position Description:

• Perform Quality Control product validation inspections including electrical, mechanical and visual weld inspections from Engineering drawings and specifications during fabrication, in process and final shipping process
• Responsible for documenting product defects and generating non-conformance reports in accordance with HDGE Control of Non-Conforming Materials procedure
• Perform follow up verification activities to close out non-conformance findings and ensure effective follow up of all defects; Give explanation or assistance to shop personnel if necessary
• Maintain accurate inspection reports and records in support of the Quality Management System
• Able to professionally interface with Engineers, Sourcing QA Engineers, Customers, Suppliers and external Inspection agencies, Should be able to travel if required and willing to work OT when necessary
• Assist in developing procedures and work instructions to meet a primary objective of eliminating defects
• Work with Production Management, Quality Engineers and shop personnel to proactively identify improvement opportunities and validate their affects, and help to develop corrective/preventive actions, able to take containment actions if needed
• Facilitate cross stations audit and contribute in continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications:

• College graduated or above.
• Desire to work in a challenging and dynamic manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of Experience on manufacturing/Engineering/QC
• Experience of using inspection tools such like calipers, micrometers, hand tooling etc.
• Able to read and interpret Engineering Drawings, Code Specifications and Purchase Orders to verify products are in compliance with the requirements set forth in these documents.
• Experience on computer skill -Microsoft Office
• Basic knowledge and experience on industry standards

Desired Characteristics:

• Knowledge or experience of ISO 9001 and QMS
• Engine or Generator or troubleshooting experience will be preferred
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Teamwork and better inter-personnel communication
