The position will develop and launch programs of automotive exhaust system for OEM. Position has responsibilities for project VAVE, establishment and execution of APQP, FMEA, DVP&R, prototype, control plan, etc. The responsibility includes coordination of the CAE, testing, problem solving, and technical program management.

Responsiblities：

1. Manage the VAVE program and coordinate activities with PM, function members within the department and cross-function to meet the milestone.

2. Prepare and present technical documents to customer for the generally communication.

3. Visit and communication with plant PM to get the VAVE requirement and take lead the product VAVE proposal generated.

4. Take lead in regular VA/VE meeting, collect and analysis the ideas with function team, manage the ideas and track the progress.

5. Perform system integration analysis to achieve optimal system design in terms of function and cost.

6. Manage the new applications, inventions and lesson learned, support and recognize patentable concepts/designs.

7. Define the ADVP with relevant engineer according to the customer’s requirement or product characteristic.

8. Perform and lead product development in design, CAE, testing, instrumentation data acquisition, generating design of experiments, analyze and generate reports with recommendations and conclusions

9. Support modifications to existing tests, procedures, standards and specifications

10. Provide technical assistance for prototype and pre-production development of new designs

11. Assist the CAD designer to make the concept or fixtures.

12. Archive document, Report test results.

Requirements:

3+ years experience, preferably in automotive product engineering.

Mechnical / Vehicle Engineering

Familiar with OEM program design and release system

Working knowledge of process ,testing, CAD and CAE analysis.

Must have the ability to utilize problem solving tools and development methods (DOE, statistical analysis experience a plus)

Must have the ability to generate engineering analysis programs, perform spreadsheet calculations, utilize program management, graphics and word processing software.Catia or UG is prefer.

Demonstrated DVP&R and/or exhaust reliability experience.

Basic skill of drawing and fixture design

Exhaust manufacturing experience and knowledge of lean enterprising principles a plus.

Ability to travel to suppliers, plants, and customer locations to support development requirements.

English sound written and verbal communication skills.

Language skill such as German/Japanese/Korea is a plus
