PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Assure that from a mechanical standpoint allocated projects are designed on time, with good manufacturability and with good performance.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Support new concept development.

Perform evaluations of mechanical manufacturing technologies for automotive areas.

Communicate with customer to get correct design requirements.

Provide design feedback and proposals to customers.

Make detailed mechanical designs for customer and internal projects.

Prepare samples and arrange tests and evaluations for mechanical performance & reliability.

Prepare mechanical parts of project documentation.

In a proactive manner involve and resolve mechanical and other project issues.

Support production line setup and trouble shooting. Support and resolve design related production issues.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Experience

At least 2 years mechanical design experience. Experience from automotive field and for antenna design and manufacturing preferred.

Knowledge

ISO9000, Product Creation Procedure, plastic and sheet metal design, basic knowledge of tooling, TS/ISO16949

Skills

Able to work with diverse team members in China and overseas.

Able to multitask in a structured way.

High sense of responsibility and flexible to change project and business requirements.

Qualifications

University or College degree majoring in Mechanical design. Able to read/write in English, basic spoken English.
