SUMMARY:
The Trainer Assistant will be responsible for translation of technical documents and coordination of training programs for Service & Applications Technicians. This position requires a highly self-motivated candidate with English proficiency. The candidate will collaborate with management, engineering, and a team of Certified Trainers to provide certification training to meet competency requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
1. Translate Haas service & operator manuals, service flash, training documents, machine decals, GUI, etc.
2. Support Marketing department on proofreading of translation projects, such as product brochures, website, CNC magazines, professional journals, etc.
3. Assist Technical Trainer to coordinate training programs, such as M&R certification class, HAA internship training, HFO trainer training program, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor degree or equivalent from Four-Year College or technical school; CET-6 or TEM-4 required;
2. One to three years related experience in translation and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
3. High proficiency in reading, writing, oral & listening in both Chinese & English. Maintain accurate and incisive interpretation between Chinese & English. Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as manuals, safety rules, work instructions, tool box talks, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to report effectively before groups of employees & trainees;
4. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
5. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
6. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, including working with graphics, SAP.
7. Digital photography skills desired, but not essential.
