POSITION SUMMARY
HUSCO (International)(Automotive) provides individuals the opportunity to pursue a career within a fast-paced, industry leading and entrepreneurial organization. Information Systems (IS) Senior Analysts are responsible for providing first point of contact for internal IS inquiries; guidance and coordination of junior support staff; administration of various IS technologies utilized throughout the facility and ensure that procedures and assets are maintained per corporate IS standards. Coordinate and provide technical support for the deployment, push-down and maintenance of PC’s, Laptops and peripherals. Develop and administer Asset and Risk Management Systems including ensuring that data backup and off-site storage plans are being executed appropriately. Monitor and resolve daily EDI activities ensuring all documents are properly processed. A successful IS Senior Analyst has a sense of urgency, can coordinate and guide junior IS staff, is self-motivated, customer oriented, organized and detail oriented.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
? Administer end user Help Desk activities. Ensure that the HUSCO Help Desk system(s) are properly utilized to monitor, track and resolve end user requests. The IS Senior Analyst will provide 1st, 2nd and limited 3rd level Help Desk support across a wide range of hardware and software platforms and applications as needed. Distribute 3rd level requests to appropriate IS resource(s) as needed. Understand and ensure that Help Desk activities are meeting department SLA’s.
? Monitor and Troubleshoot Daily EDI Activities. Monitor daily EDI activity to ensure that documents are processed correctly and in a timely manner. Liaise with internal and external personnel (Customers and Suppliers) to resolve EDI issues. Create and send corrected documents as required.
? Administer & Support Various Hardware & Software. Facilitate purchases with local suppliers to insure that hardware and software purchases meet global standards, are within budget and delivered within project schedules. Provide administrative support for A/V equipment, Citrix environment, Local Area Network and Storage Systems as needed. Provide functional support to end users for core Microsoft Office suite applications.
? Administer Risk Management Services. Collaborate with corporate Manager of Backup Services to ensure that scheduled backup services are executed appropriately and monitored on a daily basis. Ensure that data is properly stored at both onsite and offsite locations as directed.
? Customer Service and Communication. Build good working relationships with users at all facilities to provide appropriate communications between them and the IS department. Develop an understanding of problems that local users face and work with IS management to develop appropriate solutions. Make certain that end user needs are being met and that their expectations are in line with what has been agreed to be delivered to them in regards to system solutions. Provide feedback to appropriate IS resources where end user needs are not being met.
? Strong Team Player and Contributor. Work with IS project teams and the global IS department to maintain or exceed quality expectations, deliver on project timelines, control costs and provide superior customer communication / satisfaction. Work well with colleagues and produce results within a fast-paced and high pressure atmosphere. Combine strong attention to detail with an orientation towards results/execution.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
? Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Minimum three (3) years of experience in end user support
? Experience with Intel based hardware (PC & Laptop)
? Experience with computer peripherals, i.e.: Printers, MFP, Handhelds
? Strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
? Working knowledge and understanding of EDI Systems
? Working knowledge and understanding of Citrix and Thin Clients
? Working knowledge of MS Active Directory, MS Windows Server 2008 & 2012
? Working knowledge or experience with tape back-up hardware and software
? Working knowledge or understanding of Asset Management techniques / theory
? Strong business acumen
? Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with end users
? Strong verbal and written English skills
? Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
? Ability to interact with people at all levels of responsibility.
? Ability to work with confidential information.
