Visual
design is an integral part of user experience.
You will join a global team of experienced and creative experts to
initiate, conceptualize, and turning an interaction models into pixel-perfect,
visual compelling artifacts on multiple platforms (Mac, Windows, web and mobile
devices). The right candidate must
possess a clear passion about creating captivating user experiences via visual
medium, understanding that visual design is not just about making thing pretty
but an essential part of intuitive user experience. The right candidate must also be tolerant to
a range of projects, from vague to well-defined, simple to complex.

Role
and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with
  user experience designers on creating early vision and concepts


• Prototype and validate
  proposed designs with customers and product development team.


• Create iconography, visual
  prototype and provide all graphic elements of the user interfaces for
  different platforms


• Work efficiently with teams
  across multiple time zones


• Ensure consistency of the
  user interface, the application workflows and visual language for each
  specific platform.


• Review, interpret and
  document defects related to new software application developments.


• Continuous refinement of
  existing visual design language

Required
Skills and Experience:

• A portfolio demonstrating
  superior presentation and visual design skills


• Excellent written and oral
  communication skills (Chinese and English)


• Ability of creating high
  quality artwork from scratch to finish


• Pay attention to details and
  have a pixel-perfect attitude


• Proficiency using image
  creation and editing software


• Use of creative Typography


• Ability to work
  independently


• Ability to switch easily
  between different projects and flexibility to handle rapidly changing
  environments

Additional Desired Skills (an asset for the role):

• Experience designing for web
  or mobile devices


• Strong freehand sketching


• 3D modeling experience


• Passion to current maker
  culture


• Ability to do visual layout
  using combination of CSS and HTML


• Knowledge of motion
  graphics, photography, music, or video editing


• Familiar with data analysis
  tool such as Flurry, GA or Mixpanel


• Experience with prototyping
  tools (Flash, Expression Blend, Axure RP, Balsamiq)

Education

BS or
MS in Visual Design/Computer Art/Industrial Design/Architecture or a related
field, with demonstrated equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
