Nautilus Food (Shanghai) company limited, a French, dynamic company established in China for about 10 years. Now we are looking for a QA manager.
SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible under supervision of the Operating Manager for controling the QC teams, maintaining product safety and quality ; while assuring the factories production meet both:
- regulatory standards
- Customer specifications.
Detailed Description
- Ensures product safety, regulatory compliance, and compliance with costumer standards as stated in the Quality Assurance Manual.
- Performs on site inspections and report results to overseas costumers
- Order, monitor and evaluate 3rd part lab tests.
- Control factories and ensures compliance including environmental, sanitation, and products quality controls.
- Provides training and resources for plant personnel in quality and food safety practices.
- Define corrective action plans to resolve all quality issues and monitor their implementation
- Review product labels to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy.
- Maintains raw material specifications, ingredient testing program, and qualifies vendors.
- Maintains all quality related documentation.
- Perform some food safety Audit upon costumers request.
Special requirements:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Good computer skills
- Familiarity with Kosher, Halal, BRC, IFS, HACCP, MSC certifications preferred
- Familiarity with sanitation systems and procedures
- Ability to communicate in English
- Autonomy
- Mobility (need to frequently travel to factories)
- Extensive knowledge on both Canned and IQF process
- Extensive knowledge on both Fruit/ vegetables and Seafood products
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in a Food Science related discipline preferred or associates degree with relevant work experience.
- 3+ years experience in QA/ QC in a food environment.
- Factory experience would be a plus
