职位描述

JOB OUTPUT:

Under the leadership of VP WAVE Asia Pacific, this position is accountable for marketing and sales of ceiling suspension system in Asia except China and India, but initial focus on SE Asia to achieve market development, sales volume and profit objectives.

KEY PROCESSES (Ownership/Participation):

  1. Develop ceiling suspension system strategy and selling tactics to hit both volume and profit target.
  2. Technical support in the field on suspension system solution, special product requests, specifications, demonstration, installation and mockup etc.
  3. Making joint sales calls with Armstrong sales team on key projects & customers.
  4. Coordinate with cross-functional team including Sales, CSC, Logistic, Technical, Quality, Finance and Production etc.
  5. Responsible for price control and special price offering to ensure hit budget price and profit.
  6. Coordinate with customers, sales and plant to provide assistance & solutions on complaints;
  7. Monitor the project tracking and sales forecast.
  8. Assist training to key projects, distributors, contractors on suspension system solution, specifications, installation and claim handling etc.
  9. Monitor and report on competitor activities. Responsible for market and competitor survey, and updating competitive matrix to provide unique selling suggestions and training to sales team on advantages of Armstrong grid Vs competition and to help gain market position.
  10. Support key company metrics: Safety, Process effectiveness and financial performance.

MEASURES OF EFFECTIVENESS

  1. Budget sales volume and profit.
  2. Budget price, products mix.
  3. Grid efficiency (grid/MF ceiling volume).
  4. Market share and growth.
  5. Major/tracking projects hitting rate.
  6. Number & quality of training sessions.
  7. Quality of market survey and competitive matrix.

VALUE ADDED ACTIVITIES

  1. Upgrade customers from low end to higher end products.
  2. Develop new sales territory and market segment.
  3. Coordinate & assist distributors promotional.
  4. Pay more attention to project tracking and finding.
