The Client:
Our client is a global leading developer. They are renowned across China and the world for a continuing high level of excellence in service delivery and professionalism. They now require an experienced Engineering manager to join their dynamic team.
The Role
1. Assist Property manager and Operations manager on annually collecting and master planning major retrofit and renovation projects as well as maintenance projects
2. Work with PM or OM re Onsite investigation and project feasibility
3. Over all budgeting the annual projects for sites
4. Working with industry professionals to identify and optimize project solution /criteria / item enlisting and quantity
5. Compile tech specification and business terms in line with industry practice and local law or stipulation in light of the project target
6. Source and maintain quality service vendor in line with company SOP
7. Extend RFQ or bidding doc to filtered service vendor
8. Convene onsite project explanation
9. Follow up tender open on the stipulated date
10. Follow up on the bid or quotation comparison and analysis
11. Follow up on approval of the recommendation of bid or quotation
12. Formal feedback to tenderer
13. Follow up on approval of the Capex and set up in MRI
14. Compile of project PO and get it signed externally and internally
15. Assist OBM on Monitoring project progress and quality
16. Review project progress and submit payment voucher at successful completion of the project

The Person
-
- At least 7 years of working experience in property industry with above 3 years at supervisory level
- With hands on service purchase management experience for at least 3 years with focus on supplier qualification/ compliance/ quality control or total quality management / cost effectiveness etc
- Above Bachelor degree with major in Property management or Engineering
- Member of professional association with extensive knowledge re the outsourcing trend
- Trained in project management will be a plus
- Professional writing skill in both Chinese and English
- Able to communicate in English
- Excellent interpersonal communication skill
