A new Europe API/Pharmaceutical manufacturing company

Key Responsibilities

· Runs the CAPEX project and responsible for keeping costs and timelines as per agreed project plan and established contracts

· Responsible for getting required permits from authorities in cooperation with goverment Management team, and EPCM company

· Responsible to manage the project office during construction

· Ensures full compliance during the project phase (SHE and code of conduct)

· Defines staffing needs and ensures hiring regarding number, quality, cost and timelines to enable start-up and commercial production according to project plan

· Runs the site if he/she becomes the GM

· Reports regularly to the Steering Committee

· Leads the Project team

· Manages contracted companies and vendors

Critical Experience and Skills

· 10+ years of hands-on experience in engineering projects ideally in chemical industries (API)

· Strong project management capabilities and experience

· Solid understands cGMP framework

· Is familiar in purchasing

· Is familiar establishing, managing and maintaining trustful contact and relationship with authorities

· Has a solid track record in leading project teams and bigger teams

· Speaks Mandarin and English fluently

· Comfortable and familiar with both Chinese and western culture

· Master in (chemical-) engineering or process engineering

· Robust personality with high energy level and commitment to drive results and achieve agreed targets

· Highly solution orientated and ability analyze and structure .
