职位描述
Our client is one of the leading distributors for providing integrated logistics solutions with more than 20 international offices across worldwide. Due to their expansion needs, a high caliber Operations Director is sought to join their team in the Shanghai Office.
- Lead & coordinate the local operational functions to ensure all customer service, profit and targets are achieved / exceeded within the commercial framework and to assist in the development of new business
- Initiate, plan, design and deliver projects to enhance operations efficiency
- Continuously improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission
- Fully accountable for setting and driving all scorecard and KPI measurements within the business and taking the appropriate actions where measure are not being achieved
- Work closely with departments to support alignment with the business and within Supply Chain
- To ensure any new business is implemented on time and in line with any agreed commercial & contractual framework to ensure budgeted financial targets can be achieved
- To develop an appropriate business plan with the management team
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above in Business Management / Supply Chain / Logistics Management
- Min.10 - 15 years of Supply Chain / Operations experience, preferably in Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry
- Strong business sensitivity and interpersonal skills
- Good reporting and communication skills
- A highly motivated and strong proactive team player
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
