Job Title: DTV/STB -- Stack Development Engineer

Location: Shanghai

In this position, the candidates will be responsible for DTV Stack development for Broadcast TV stacks (Cable, Satellite or IP) and also participating resolving system level issues. The Candidates will be working closely with team members from different locations on project development and customer support.

Job Description:

1. You will be the developers of DTV Stack (ATSC/DVB/DTMB/ISDB) for DTV/SBT software systems.

2. You will be a team member of senior engineers working directly with end customer to build production digital TV/STB systems.

3. You will work with your stuff and company customers to ensure that customer requirements are well defined.

4. You will be engaged in the design of products to meet customer requirements.

5. You will be the communication window between customers and baseline development teams.

6. You will join the development of advanced, cutting edge DTV/STB, Smart TV, Hybrid STB technologies.

7. You will be expected to travel for development or debug in domestic as well as some international travels.

Qualifications:

The candidates meet multiple items as below will be preferred:

1. A Bachelor degree or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

2. Good written and oral communications skills in English and mandarin.

3. 2+ years experience of embedded software programming with C/C++ for embedding system, and the technologies and drivers(Linux system/Audio Video drivers etc) in Digital TV and STB products will be preferred

4. Knowledgeable of digital TV broadcast standards such as ATSC, DVB, DTMB, ISDB

5. Experienced in HDTV, STB, Smart TV and MPEG is preferred

6. Experience with Android will be a strong plus

7. Experienced with supporting customers.

8. General knowledge of hardware, ARM architecture is preferred
