Norduyn is a dynamic fast growing aerospace company involved in the development and sale of innovative lightweight solutions for commercial and military aviation markets. Norduyn has won multiple local and international awards for its entrepreneurship and innovative products. Norduyn is based in Montreal with manufacturing facilities in Montreal and Shanghai, China. The company employs nearly 180 people.
Duties and responsibilities:
? Execute the Hiring Strategy to provide frontline workers for the Production Department and other departments. Identify and attract the rightcandidates and build a bank of potential candidates to provide good workers on time to ensure the Production Department can achieve their objectives.
? Be responsible forthe on-board procedure for new employees. Ensure all new employees’ personal information required by the company are properlycollected, recorded and filed, the employees are set up in the time card system and the employees have new-hire training.
? Be responsible to the working attendance record of the production workers.
? Support the Accounting Department as needed for the payroll calculation.
? Keep accuraterecords of the vacation, personal day and holiday requests and sick time.
? Handle the resignation procedure of all the workers. Keep accuraterecords of the resignation application, exit interview and all other paper work.
? Other ad hoc tasks assignedby the factory HR Manager.
Skills and Specifications:
? Bachelor degree or above, major in HR management, Business or related.
? 1 to 2 years working experience in recruiting.
? Good comprehension of English.
? Strong teamwork attitude.
? Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
? Excellent communication skills.
? Results and deadline oriented.
? Strong organizational skills and self-discipline.
? Practical judgment of priorities.
? Self-directed; ability to complete tasks without micro-management.
