Job Description:
1. Product Development: Support development of formulated SMP and PU sealants or formulated solvent-based adhesives, primarily based on Vitel? CoPolyester resins. Direct lab bench work required for product development support. Must be able to follow test procedures and maintain a very high level of accuracy in all aspects of job duties. Must be capable of safely working on the bench with solvents and/or isocyanates.
2.Analytical Analysis: Support R&D through interface with Analytical group to resolve customer issues with adhesive and/or end application production
3.System and Procedures: Comply 100% with EHS and Quality management system policies and requirements. Must maintain lab housekeeping.
4.Technical Support: Help support technical assistance to: 1) target customers, 2) Changshu Manufacturing. Provide the necessary lab testing to support internal and external customers. Responsible for scale up of new products from laboratory to full commercialization.
5.Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates as required.

Qualification:
2 or 3 year college degree or above
Major in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related field is preferred.
Good problem solving skills. Strong attention to detail.
Results-oriented, aggressive but a team player.
Open-minded, creative and innovative.
Outstanding interpersonal & communication skills.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Good command of English both written and oral.
