职位描述

Purpose
The degree of an IKEA store’s operational success largely depends on the speed, accuracy and service provided at the check-out area. A lasting positive impression is made by well-managed checkouts manned with knowledgeable, friendly and helpful cashiers who work together with customers.
The Cashier Team Leader has the responsibility to support Cash Service manager actively creating the conditions for a successful shopping experience through securing the highest possible level of customer service in the areas of responsibility.

Mandate
The Cashier Team Leader has the responsibility to actively create the conditions for a successful shopping experience through securing the highest possible level of customer service in the areas of responsibility.
The Cashier Team Leader reports to cash service manager directly.
The Cashier Team Leader has human resource responsibility for his/her people and to supervise, develop and inspire his/her team.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
Secure last positive impression for our customers
- Be aware and emphasis that the Check Out area is the last stop for the majority of the visitors & customer.
- To secure a good waiting time and follow up system in the checkouts area to support an efficient service to visitors/customers

Department management
- Operate the department according to systems, methods and guidelines stated in IKEA Concept Documentation by having a high knowledge about IKEA Manuals and Rules & Guidelines.
- Safety and security

People Development
- Coach and build up IKEA competence through providing direction, creating motivation and building trust
- Have the ability to create an environment where the IKEA values are a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and visitors
- Bring out the best in co-workers and attract, develop and inspire the organization. Securing that each individual is motivated in terms of:
- satisfying their own needs
- contributing to the performance of the area of responsibility
- contributing to a climate of trust in the area of responsibility

Knowledge
- Have a minimum of 1-2 years retail service or customer service experiences
- Have a minimum of 2-3 years high volume or multi-unit retail or service operation experiences
- Having experience with cash service or financial areas is a prefer
