Introduction
Retail Risk Analytics (RRA) team in Shanghai is part of the HSBC Global Analytics Center (GAC), and supports risk analytics for Retail Banking and Wealth Management Risk (RBWM Risk) for the entire Asia Pacific region.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Retail Risk Analytics Manager – GAC RRA. This role is to lead a Shanghai analytics team under direction from Sr. Retail Risk Analytics Manager. The role includes managing and maintaining effectiveness of analytics processes in a production setting to ensure successful delivery of analytics models to assist ASP RBWM businesses in the achievement of the business plans (AOP/ROP) along with other business goals while maintaining competitiveness in costs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk models to assist regional RBWM and risk management teams in managing risk for businessgrowth.
- Monitor the performance of all risk models implemented to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained.
- Enhance and promote best practices in modeling techniques, automation and management processes.
- Conduct and experiment with various modeling methods in order to improve the accuracy and quality of risk management solutions.
- Conduct and experiment new decision analytics techniques to support new credit/marketing strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor/ Master degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Risk Management or equivalent.
- Global mindset and ability to communicate to technical and non technical customers in a clear and convincing manner.
- English fluency in listening, reading, speaking, as well as writing is a critical requirement.
- Advanced programming skills in VBA, Java, or SAS etc.
