Job description
Atlas Copco has a dedicated internal organization to support the "middleware" platforms
that facilitate the connectivity activity between different processes within the Group. It
provides integration services to support IT projects that have the potential to take
advantage of this EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) platform.
The analyst/developer will have the opportunities to join in IT projects where integration
is key. As a member of the Business Systems organization, the candidate will participate
in EAI matters over the world to ensure the business flows are correct and supported.
You will facilitate business flow discussions from an EAI perspective and will work
together with both business and IT technical people, internally as well as externally.
You will have an eye on the future developments in the EAI area and spend time in
research and development to find new improved ways of conducting business using EAI
technologies to increase efficiency for the Atlas Copco Group.
Being very result driven in the best interest of the business is important as over 90% of
all sales of Atlas Copco is touching the EAI interfaces.
Training will be provided in the EAI tools currently used (WebSphere Suite, WebSphere
MQ, Cast Iron, SAP PI, Syncron, Montova ...)
The platform is a business critical component of the Group's IT Strategy and this position

Experience requirements
The ideal candidate will have a sound IT technical background and is able to understand and interpret issues at both a business and technical level. Knowledge of EAI, ERP systems, connectivity and associated business flows are requirements. Documentation is
key in the success of the organization. The ideal candidate will be well organized and will
be able to operate independently as a competence centre within each project. As a team
player he/she will share the information with his/her colleagues in a natural way.

Educational requirements
The candidate should have a bachelor or university degree, preferably in Information
Systems and Technology, or have acquired similar competence through work experience.
Good knowledge of English, orally and in writing, is essential. Knowledge of EAI tools
like WebSphere Message Broker and WebSphere MQ is considered as a plus. The ability
to learn these tools is more important.

Personality requirements
The successful candidate must be result oriented, positive, have an open attitude and
should have excellent communication skills with customers, partners and colleagues
alike. It is important that the candidate is perceived as service minded and with good
customer orientation.

This position is expected to be located in the Atlas Copco Business Services, IT hub in
Shanghai (China).
