1. JOB OBJECTIVE

The objective of this position is to actively build the company turnover in the product area for which responsibility is assigned, by ensuring highly competitive pricing; innovative and desired product and samples due delivered on time and to specification.

2. REPORTING

This position reports to Chief Representative.

3. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 Making sure samples are made to agreed schedule and specifications. While there are problems, finding creative solution;

3.2 Obtaining quotations on all sampled goods and negotiating contract prices as necessary;

3.3 By refresh and analysis, improving the Company’s knowledge of real cost for the products within the Chinese Market;

3.4 Making sure suppliers issue contracts promptly and as per our required pricing and delivery dates.

3.4.1 Development with close co-ordination with New York Head Office;

3.4.2 Source for materials in China;

3.4.3 Conduct supplier pre-qualification and performance review;

3.5 Guarantee the orders being shipped on time.

3.6 Manage company’s Timelines with makers.

3.7 Follow company’s Protocol on all process steps.

3.8 Evaluating maker’s production capacity and working with maker on acceptable production plans.

3.9 Supervising all cost submissions and ascertaining that the information is accurate and thorough.

3.10 Monitor all production and deliveries.

3.11 Negotiate all changes in delivery schedules.

3.12 Educate all makers to company’s requirements on all aspects of production.

4. REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB IN TERMS OF EXPERIENCE, SKILL AND ATTITUDE:

4.1 Experience in hometextile or apparel or any related home products.

4.2 Sourcing and negotiating;

4.3 Moving steadfastly and resourcefully to achieve important objectives despite obstacles- and doing this consistently.

4.4 Having motivation and a strong desire to achieve and to be successful;

4.5 Analyzing facts quickly and arriving at sound conclusions and practical plans and action;

4.6 Showing good common sense and judgment, and learning from experience;

4.7 Communicating clearly, concisely and persuasively;

4.8 Organizing and good time-managing skills;

4.9 Must be a team player, willing to provide help.

4.10 Independent management capability, organizing ability and handling stress ability are needed.

4.11 Great passion for new ideas, new design and new products

4.12 Strong experience in developing new products

4.13 Willing to travel

4.14 Familiar with US market
