职位描述
?Primary Responsibilities:
-Drive and support the implementation of a Business Development Program (BDP) in-line with the global Power & Utilities SBU strategy.
-The objectives of the BDP are to provide:
-Inspection, Testing & Certification services to Chinese EPC's at construction sites worldwide.
-Owners Engineering services to project owners to oversee export of Chinese EPC's design, equipment, and construction
-Engage with the SGS global network to drive the development of local capabilities that support the mission and objectives of the BDP
-Identification of acquisitions and partnerships, that fill in capability gaps in the network
-Actively raise the profile of SGS within the Conventional Power sector working closely with the global and local teams
-Identify necessary qualifications (accreditations, certifications, etc.) to be accepted in the local markets
-Cooperate with Market Development Managers (MDM) to maximize sales efforts with respect to specific projects and common global clients

-Director - Global Conventional Power
?Specific responsibilities:
-Market analysis and research
-Close working relationship between the Power & Utilities Business Unit and local Conventional Power teams to identify sales
opportunities for new/existing clients
-Identify potential opportunities for other Business Units as appropriate
-Support the preparation of sales and marketing material; attend exhibitions and other promotional activities
-Prepare and support regional sales forecasts and feasibility studies for new services
-Working closely with Global and local Experts to develop the business
? Profile
-Strongly focused on the commercial aspects and drivers for the Conventional Power markets
-Understanding and experience of the development of Power projects
-Experience in market analysis and development of business cases
-Extensive experience in business development within the Power industry
-A strong network as a basis for generating new business for SGS
? Skills
-Fluent in English
-Chinese is a plus, but is not required
-Able to cooperate effectively with multidisciplinary and multinational teams
-Able to plan, organize and implement a range of business development promotion programs and events
-Able to interact with all levels of customer management (including CEO)
-Able to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements
-Works well under pressure
-Capable of working within a matrix structured company
-Sales skills and commercially orientated
-Takes initiatives and can work independently
-Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
