Fabric Merchandiser—China Office

Report to –fabric manager, China

Qualification & Required Experience ---Graduate in any stream, Diploma/Degree in Textile/Apparel will be preferred, 2-4 year experience in similar role in Fabric or Apparel

Position Objective—Manage bulk fabric delivery, quality & color continuity.

Key Duties-

1. Bulk fabric follow up/update and share of F.C.P. weekly with Moscow office.

2. Negotiate fabric delivery and maintain lead time.

3. Resolve conflicting situations between garment vendor and fabric supplier.

4. Initial forecast mill.

5. Coordinate with head office in Moscow for critical issue & updates on regular basis.

6. Communication with fabric suppliers & OSO merchandisers.

7. Ensure bulk meets testing requirements & mill inspection in passed as per agreed level.

Required Skill Set-

1. Ability to read test reports.

2. Hands on experience of MS office, emails, Proficiency in excel and PPT.

3. Fluency in English reading and writing.

4. Native speaker of local language to interact with mills/fabric suppliers of China ( includes HK).

5. Skilled communication and relationship builder as lot of interaction with cross functional team will be required.

6. Result oriented.
