Responsibilities:
1. Work as an integral part in the Design and Product Development team
2. Interpret conceptual ideas and technical requirements of the collections, translate and relay this informationto vendors and ensure the vendors fully understanding our requirements; and understand exactly what is required; 3. Search for new fabrics to recommend to designers;
4. Constantly update and enhance existing vendor base to meet various costing and styling requirements of each
season
5. Follow through the merchandising process from sample development, production and quality management to
delivery of goods
6. Source and negotiate with Control the proper vendors to achieve the best price and quality level right at the sampling stage to get the best possible quality/Price/delivery;
7. Responsible for costing of the Women's garments, accessories and get the best possible price quotes;
8.Monitor and ensure the on time delivery of products and update and resolve any potential delays and quality
issues during the process Responsible for place the Orders and follow up on the production quality and delivery;


Requirements:

1.Polytechnic or above graduates in Textiles & Clothing or equivalent;
2.Minimum 2 years solid sourcing, sample development and merchandising experience gained in garment field with
trading or buying offices;
3.Relevant experience in handling ladies garment items;
4.Good vendor network in China;
5.Keep abreast of market trends with passion in fashion;
6.Excellent command of written & spoken English;
7.Strong business sense and excellent communication skill;
8.Based in Shanghai with traveling requirements within China
