Position Title: Accounting Manager – Financial Reporting
SBU/Department: Corporate Support/Finance and Accounting
Division: Finance and Accounting
Reporting To: Group Financial Controller. Dotted line to the China Unit head.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Functional/Technical
Finance and Accounting
? Establishes financial controls at the unit. Implements group level policies and procedures aligned to the local requirement.
? Performs analytical review on financial statements and prepares reports explaining variances with prior periods and budget, including analysis of foreign exchange gains / losses
? Reviews monthly lead schedules.
? Monitors all clearing accounts and reconciliation of inter-company accounts.
? Preparation, review and dissemination of monthly financial reports as per group reporting standards
? Cost control
? Financial analysis for monitoring financial performance and providing analysis to the Head of Operations for performance improvement.
? Cash management, banking
? Ensuring all compliances – Taxation, labor, Company law etc.
? To ensure implementation of SAP platform at the unit.

Operations and Systems Analysis
? Recommends and implements new procedures to improve accuracy and timelines of work flow and streamline accounting closing cycle.
? Ensure proper maintenance of group processes and procedures.
? Documents new and revised processes and procedures.

Requirements:
? Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or Business Management
? Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
? Must have at least 5 years work experience in Accounting and/or Finance Auditing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
? Knowledge of IFRS
? Must have excellent leadership and managerial skills
? Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
? Exposure to SAP a preference
? Must be able to effectively present information to management.
