Advanced Specialist Test Operations

Division, located in Shenyang/China
Employment – full time

Tasks

- Responsible for the daily coordination and management of activities for R&D test operations.

- Provide technical leadership to Carpool Coordination, Logistics, Warehouse and other workshop personnel

- Assignment of daily work tasks for R&D personnel in close alignment with direct supervisor (Workshop Manager)

- Coordinate and execute specific test operations and evaluation projects

- Responsible for the resource planning of test operations

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for the daily coordination and management of activities for R&D test operations

- Provide leadership, communicate and advise technical aspects of the work to the R&D staff and assist and facilitate team with challenging tasks

- Liaising with the responsible engineers on all issues related to test operations

- Acting as stand- in for the shared service test operations and workshop manager in R&D

- Acting as stand- in for the designated test team leader for offsite testing campaigns in Mainland China

- Work closely with Vehicle Engineers to make recommendations for test locations, test facilities and problem solving for challenging operational or logistics tasks

- Responsible for overall test operations productivity and output quality

- Performs other related duties and projects as required

Qualifications

- Master Degree Automotive or equivalent

- Analytical, honest, reliable, determined, ready, independent and initiative

- Strong communication skills and demonstrate ability to work with others in a cross cultural setting

- Languages skills: fluent Chinese, fluent English language knowledge, basic German if available

- Advanced technical understanding of cars and vehicle structure

- Functional understanding for hybrid functions and electric vehicle

- Advanced skills with test operations/ logistics in China

- Work experience in an international environment, 1-3 years

- Experience in the automotive field, 1-3 years

- 2 years workshop related project management, 4-6 years

- 2 - 5 years managing personnel in an engineering workshop / test operations environment, 4-6 years

- 5 - 7 years in engineering / test operations environment, 4-6 years
