Description:

OPSENG team is responsible for world-wide raw materials, process, and product consistency across all backend functions and sites; both internal and external, by aligning to documented, best known methods.

As an OPSENG Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of OPSENG Engineers in MXA from different functions and also perform process integration functional role. You will be tasked with coordinating the implementation of repeatable processes and procedures for manufactured assemblies among global Micron and contracted manufacturing operations. A broad level of communication and coordination will be required to achieve best-in-class manufacturing practices through the use of control plans and FMEA documentation. You will work closely with members of various groups including site operations, QRA, QMS, NPI and design groups etc.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this position will have:

· A minimum of six years engineering experience

· Preference given to direct experience in any of the following areas;

o Semicon component Assembly process

§ Wafer thinning, dicing, die attach, wirebonding, encapsulation, Ball attach, Trim & form, singulation etc

o Semicon package development

§ TSOP, BGA (COB, BOC), Flip Chip etc

§ HMC, 3DS 3DI technologies etc

o Printed circuit assembly process

§ screen print, chipshooter placement, reflow and underfill processes, electronic assembly rework, automated optical inspection etc

· Familiarity with Business Process Mapping (BPM), Control plans, DFMEA/PFMEA, and ISO/TS-16949

· Experienced in SPC, Design of Experiments (DOE), and IPC specifications

· Use detailed proven engineering methods to troubleshoot problems and provide solution sets at a root cause level in a timely manner

· Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and presentation skills

· Fluency in English and Mandarin

Education:

Bachelors or better degree in Mechanical/ Material/ Production engineering discipline
